Royce Johnson is the Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is a seasoned entrepreneur with experience in startups as well as in instituting change in large companies. Prior to co-founding Parimics, he was instrumental in starting six other companies in Silicon Valley, one of which he successfully helped bring to an IPO. Before becoming a serial entrepreneur, Royce was the Director of the Vendor of Choice and Strategic Programs at Intel, where he was responsible for leading Intel's corporate-wide "Vendor of Choice" Program, and where he established the MBO Program. Before that, he was the General Manager of the Microprocessor Engineering and Business Services as well as the Co-General Manager of the Microprocessor Group at Intel. He brings in his extensive experience in operations and in internal marketing as well as pricing strategies.
Axel Kloth as the founding CTO of Parimics is member of the Board of Directors. He has an extensive background and a broad experience in architecting, designing, implementing and introducing new and disruptive technologies in semiconductors and in systems. Before founding Parimics, Axel was a Distinguished Engineer at Mindspeed, which was a spinoff of Conexant. He came to Conexant through the acquisition of HotRail, which he helped reorient - away from ccNUMA-type SMP switches towards communication switch fabrics - and where as a member of the Technical Advisory Board he was the driving force and the architect behind the iScale switch fabric. Prior to that, he was a Senior System Architect at Infineon Technologies where he worked on the first scalable and fully programmable Network Processor architecture that scaled from OC-48 to OC-768.
